Much is accomplished at LAKEMARY thanks to the dedicated team of volunteers and corporate partners who work daily to enrich the lives of the children and adults we serve. You too, can enjoy the rewarding experience of volunteering at LAKEMARY Center - the only job requirement is a love of helping others.
Can Anyone Volunteer?
LAKEMARY welcomes the gift of time from people representing all walks of life and backgrounds. There is no typical profile of our volunteers; they are students, business people, retirees and more. All that is required is a desire to give, to share, to get involved and make a difference. LAKEMARY's "flexible hours" program welcomes volunteers to serve when it is most convenient.

What Locations Need Volunteers?
Volunteer opportunities are available in both Johnson and Miami Counties.
Will I Need Special Training?
Before placement, volunteers will receive an orientation from the Volunteer Coordinator. Upon beginning each placement in a new location or activity, further training will be provided.
